About

Paraflow was founded in 2016 by Mo Kassem. As a UBC Engineering graduate, Mo started his career in the road car industry before moving into the world of motorsports. After accumulating 14 years of engineering studies and professional experience, he decided to shift his focus to supporting small to mid-size engineering companies that sought industry-leading CFD technology but did not have the resources for a dedicated in-house setup.

Calibre and Pace

Motorsport Roots

The foundation of our know-how comes from the motorsport industry. However more than that is also the unique environment which includes the pace, adaptability, talent and problem-solving strategies which we have grown to embrace.

Most of this comes directly from Formula 1. The remainder is from working in other high-profile series, as listed below.

EV Expertise

Our most recent projects have been in the fast-developing industry of electrical vehicles. Below are some of the projects we have done in the context of EVs for our clients.

  • CHT (conjugate heat transfer) of electrical modules
  • Battery and Inverter cooling
  • External and internal aerodynamics
  • HVAC systems
  • Oil management in rotating gearbox
  • Thermal management of wheel assemblies
